The last
meetings of the Spanish Club were exciting. We inducted the members of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispana, and
introduced the four officers of the Society: President, Celeste Muniz;
Membership Secretary, Emily Hartzler; Recording Secretary, Daniela Ledezma; Treasurer,
Ariana Cardoso. The purpose of this organization is to recognize high
achievement in Spanish of TPA students and to promote continuity of interest in
Hispanic studies.
On Octuber 28th Monica Butler, former
Spanish Students at TPA, came to the Spanish Club to have a conversation with
us.
On November 3rd, we celebrated Dia de los
Muertos. We ate Pan de muerto and
watched a movie related to this festivity.
In order to reinforce grammar and the new vocabulary
learned in class, we also played educational games.
