Spring and Fall 20018 Activities

The Spanish Club and Hispanic Honorary Society had exciting activities. On Wednesdays, we had guest speakers and educational games. We also organized our traditional Quesadilla Café, the Spelling bee competition, Dia de los Muertos, among other events. Here we show some pictures of our activities.

On August 30th, we played Kahoot!


In August, we held our first session of the Hispanic Honor Society / Spanish Club.

Members of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica organized  the Dia de Muertos Celebration. In the pictures you can see the Altar of the Dead. Denzel Rustempasic and Jamie Sprout made quesadillas. Nestor Ortiz and his family made cookies. Peter Surin, James David and Alexis Massie, among others, participated actively in this event.


Students love to play Kahoo. Peter Surin organized a tournament.
In November, Mrs. Carolina Wasson conversed about the Bolivian culture. She brought cultural items from this country. In the picture, she is wearing a traditional Bolivian garment.
